My First Blog

So, I'm entering this blogging a little late in the game, but I think it will be fun.

A few things about myself, I am currently engaged and in the midst of planning my wedding, so you can expect that to be a major focus in my blogs.

I'm a major Buffy fan and lover of all things Whedon, looking forward to his upcoming project, Dollhouse, which will star Eliza Dushku.

I love to read, especially Fantasy books, and I am very much into movies, comics, and video games.

I work for a major retailer, as a Planner, which basically means I decide how much of a product is delivered to the stores each week.

I'm also majorly into fashion and design, hence the FemGeek title. Because, while I am a serious geek, I'm still pretty and girlie.

My plan for my blog is to review books and movies, and maybe some of the games I play.
I also plan to put some major focus on new comic books and webcomics, as well as report on any insider info I get about the comic industry.
I am hoping to develop my writing skills enough to help turn this into more than just a hobby.
Hopefully you will find my writing engaging and interesting.
Eventually a video blog will most likely be the next step, after I've become comfortable with telling the world my thoughts and opinions.
